Literature Text

I am thankful to have...

A caring mother

A caring father

Loving sisters who annoy me yet are so dear to me

Loving grandparents who I look up to

A house to provide warmth and shelter

Clothes that can I call my own

Friends who I can turn to

Food that is placed on the table every night

A warm bed that I can crawl into

The presents I receive on my birthday and Christmas

I may not like how things are but I'm pretty damn thankful for it. Because I know that deep down, it could always be much worse...
This is something I wrote to remind me of how much luck I have in my life and that there are others who weren't privileged with family, friends or even somewhere to sleep at night.

It was my first ever attempt at doing verse poetry and it isn't very good but oh well...

Hope you enjoy it. Please be respectful and mature with feedback.

It's good that you think that way. I know far too many people who love to constantly ravel in their self-pity and nihilism for the society they live in.
Anyway, I like the style this is written in. It's simple and to the point. You had a message to give and you gave it in a clear-cut and natural way.
KEEP UP THE GRAND WORK SIR/MADAME.
